1.Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, information generated as you use the Service, and information from third parties (such as payment and verification providers). The categories below summarize what we collect; later sections add detail.

2.Identity Verification Data

To comply with anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering (AML) obligations and to enable monetary wagering and withdrawals, we use a third-party identity-verification provider to confirm who you are. This process may collect your legal name, date of birth, government-issued identification document (such as a driver's license or passport), and related details, and may use automated checks to confirm the document is genuine and belongs to you.

This verification is performed by a specialized provider that processes your identity documents on our behalf. We receive the verification result and associated records. We use this information only for identity verification, eligibility, fraud prevention, and legal compliance — never to advertise to you.

3.Financial & Transaction Data

When you deposit, wager, or withdraw, we and our payment providers collect and generate transaction data, including amounts, timestamps, fees, wager participation, outcomes, and payout details. To pay out withdrawals, you link a bank account (for example, account and routing information), which is handled through our payout provider.

Card and bank details used to move money are collected and processed by our third-party payment and payout providers; we do not store full payment-card numbers on our own systems. We retain records of transactions as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet financial and tax record-keeping obligations (see Section 12). If required by law, we or our providers may collect tax-related information and issue tax documents.

4.Content, Public Bets & Livestreams

We collect and store the content you create through the Service, including wagers, comments, chat messages, images, videos, and livestreams, along with metadata such as timestamps and the participants involved.

Livestreams are delivered in real time through our streaming provider so that invited participants or the public (depending on visibility) can watch, chat, and react.

5.Location Information

Monetary wagering is restricted to permitted jurisdictions. To enforce this, the Service uses the state or jurisdiction you provide and may associate an optional location with a wager. You are responsible for providing accurate location information, and misrepresenting your location (including via VPN, proxy, or spoofing) violates our Terms of Service.

We use location information for eligibility, compliance, fraud prevention, and to apply any jurisdiction-specific limits — not for advertising.

6.Device & Usage Data

As you use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical data, including device and app identifiers, push-notification (FCM) tokens used to send you notifications, app-interaction and diagnostic data, and information generated by our hosting and analytics infrastructure. This helps us operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

7.How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and provide the Service;
• Facilitate wagers, hold and transfer funds, and process deposits, withdrawals, and fees;
• Verify your identity, age, and eligibility, and enforce jurisdictional restrictions;
• Deliver social features — friends, chat, feeds, comments, likes, and livestreams;
• Send you notifications, updates, and Service-related communications;
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, cheating, money laundering, and abuse;
• Moderate content and enforce our Terms and community rules;
• Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, and record-keeping obligations;
• Operate, analyze, secure, and improve the Service; and
• Use public wager and livestream content for advertising and promotion, as described in our Terms.

8.Automated Moderation & Fraud Prevention

To keep the Service safe, we use automated tools — including third-party and AI-based services — to screen content (such as usernames, wager titles and descriptions, images, comments, and livestreams) for policy violations, and to detect fraud, prohibited wagers, and abuse. Automated systems may flag, filter, restrict, or remove content or accounts, and high volumes of user reports may trigger automatic action. Human review may also be involved. These measures help protect you and other users but are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and are not guaranteed to catch every violation.

9.How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Service and comply with the law:

• With other users: your username, profile, public content, and wager participation are visible to other users according to the visibility you choose and the nature of the wager.
• With service providers: vendors who process payments and payouts, verify identity, deliver livestreams, moderate content, host our infrastructure, and send notifications (see Section 10).
• For legal & safety reasons: to comply with applicable law, subpoenas, court orders, or lawful requests; to enforce our Terms; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Avocado, our users, or the public.
• In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
• With your consent or at your direction.

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service. These providers process information on our behalf for the purposes described and are subject to their own privacy policies:

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Because Avocado Bets handles money, we are subject to financial record-keeping and anti-money-laundering obligations, so transaction, identity-verification, and related compliance records may be retained for extended periods (for example, several years) even after you close your account or delete content, as required by law.

When you delete content, it is removed from user-facing feeds; however, copies may persist in backups, logs, or compliance archives for a limited time, and public content that has already been used or distributed may not be fully retrievable. When information is no longer needed and we are not legally required to keep it, we delete or de-identify it.

13.Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricting sensitive data (such as identity and banking information) to authorized personnel and providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and regulators as required by applicable law.

14.Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also:

• Update your profile information in the app;
• Control notifications through your device settings;
• Manage the visibility of your wagers and livestreams (Public vs. Private);
• Block other users; and
• Request account deletion.

Note that some information must be retained for legal, financial, security, or fraud-prevention reasons even after a deletion request, and closing your account does not erase records we are obligated to keep.

15.Children's Privacy

The Service is intended only for adults 18 years of age or older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it and close the account. 16.Changes & Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, in the app or by updating the effective date above). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
